“No idea how you made fundraising not suck, but somehow you did. Thanks for everything, seriously.”
– Founder who raised their first round: $600K pre-seed
Our Mission
Supporting sports tech founders in the earliest stages, before the VCs, before the headlines — when it actually matters.

Our Story
We started Gate34 after seeing the same thing again and again: Most first-time founders have no f*cking idea how fundraising actually works.
They’re building something great, but when it comes to raising money? They’re completely lost. They’ve never done it before. They’ve read a few blog posts, seen some big VC rounds on LinkedIn, and suddenly think they need to raise $2 million from Sequoia.
Spoiler: That’s not how early-stage fundraising works.
The truth? No one's explained what’s actually realistic for a first-time founder. What kind of money to go after. From who. How to structure it. And what they send out, the decks, the emails, the story, it all looks like it was stitched together at 1AM the night before.
So we built Gate34 to fix this. We work with first-time founders who are serious about raising, but know they need help getting it right. Not theory. Not startup fluff. Real execution, clean story, smart process, the right raise for where you are.
Here’s a few straight quotes from the texts we’ve received:
“No idea how you made fundraising not suck, but somehow you did.”
“You made this whole process way less painful than I expected.”
“We would’ve never pulled this off without you.”
If you’re trying to raise for the first time, and you’re ready to stop guessing, we’re here.
